(Part 1) April 2018- SSS “Beautiful Day” card kit

Hello Everyone! Here are still photos of the first 5 cards I made using the Simon Says Stamp “Beautiful Day” card kit. I know I say that I always have fun making cards but it is truly a fun process! I’m obsessed with making cards but I’m also new to the card making tribe so that explains that…LOL! That is why I love card kits because the card kit basically comes with everything you need to make the card without the pressure or headache of pulling supplies that match well together- it eliminates the grabbing supplies process and you can just dive in and have fun!

Card 1

This card was Simple and easy to make! I love when there is no real technique involved- don’t get me wrong, I love using techniques but sometimes it’s good idea to have a fast and easy card to make incase you need to.

The gradient rainbow paper pattern makes this simple card pop!

Card 2

This card was also easy to make and this particular size of butterfly is perfect size to stack like this on a stand size card front.

Card 3

Oh my! This card gave me some challenges! However, it is my second favorite out of the 5. I was very satisfied with the outcome.

I love how the colors pop in this card and how the colors here scream spring time!

Card 4

Using the Distress Oxide ink smooching technique on this card was so much fun!

Using glossy accents here to add some drops here and there add a touch of glimmer to this card.

Card 5

This is my favorite card out of the 5. I just feel so proud that my idea actually came to life!  I love that this card did not give me any challenges – happy to report that it was a smooth process for this one.

The Shimmer on those butterflies are just amazing! I love my Nuvo Aqua Shimmer pen!
