Creative Faith & Co | Seasons of Prayer Summer: Seas of Abundance | Part 1

Hello Everyone!

Thank you so much for tuning in to my youtube channel and blog! I will keep this post super short because I mentioned most of the inspiration behind the illustration of this entry using Creative Faith & Co, “Seasons of Prayer: Summer kit” over at my youtube channel

First of all, I want to say thank you to Hillary, from Creative Faith & Co. for the opportunity to serve in the Bible journaling community by being selected to be in her creative faith team. I was over the moon excited that I was selected!

Second, to start my creative team journey with Creative Faith & Co. I did my first Bible journal entry using the new, “Seasons of Prayer: Summer Kit.” There are 2 types of kits, the devotional and cuttable artwork and the TN kit. This is also a collaboration between Creative Faith Co. & Tony Hamilton from Messy Bible, she has beautiful artwork and devotional content that can be combined with both kits.

Lastly, I wanted to just reiterate what I mentioned in the video. I journaled the part 1 of Hillary’s devotional kit, which is Stronger with somebody. As I read this, I automatically thought about how normally this would be a reference to friends being there for each other but the one person that came to mind was my husband. He has been my best friend, my companion and my rock- God knew I would need a man like him to do life with, where I’m weak he is strong. My husband definitely helps me when it comes to spiritual things but also when it comes to emotional situations- I couldn’t have asked for a better companion. As I looked through the artwork in the kit, I knew I wanted to use the seahorse but I did not know much about sea horses. I decided to do a little research on facts and information of sea horses. In my search, I found that sea horses like to swim in pairs with their tails linked together. This totally was all the more interesting to add on my illustration because my somebody is my husband and we are a pair, a pair that was linked together the only way that God can pair two people who are destined to be together ( A little mushy lol). I encourage you to think about the somebodies in your life who encourage you. Think about the somebodies in your life that you could encourage as well.

I hope you enjoyed the pictures and a little bit of the inspiration behind the illustration. I hope you will like and subscribe to follow me on this creative journey for Creative Faith & Co.
